My topic, Henry Ford and the invention of the automobile fits the 2012 - 2013 history fair becuase without cars transportation would be slow. My parents would not be able to make it to work, I would not be able to make it to school by a horse-drawn carriage. My topic made history by creating cheap enough cars for almost every family to own a vehicle, making travel increadibly fast compared to horses. My topic effects today's society because modern streets are full of cars and most families own at least one vehicle. Without a car most familys would have trouble getting to work or school. People should study my topic because most people do not appreciate how easy life is with the automobile, and they should learn how the first cars effected society.
