Historical Importance
Henry Ford's invention of the automobile locally made people want one really bad. When his assembly line started he could make many in one day. He nationally started making cars in more than Michigan, and also started inspiring companies to also start an assembly line for mass production. After a few years, cars were being built globally. Many other countries wanted automobiles so they started trying to recreate Ford's invention. My topic impacted the people of our society most. The automobile did not effect just one person, it helped everyone go from point a to point b. In today's society this impacted us by giving us a faster and safer way of travel. There are still accidents, but with automobiles there are safety perks such as the air bag. When in a collision, the air bag will deploy and save our heads from trauma. Also our overall speed of travel is much faster, a horse and carriage would go about 20 mph at full speed, when automobiles can do 60+ mph.
