Conclusion
The invention of the automobile fits this years topic of turning points in history because the automobile modernized travel and Henry Ford had made billions off of one dream, the dream of a car for everyone! If the automobile was not invented, we would still be using bicycles, carriages, and trains. The V8 motor would not exist and maybe a vehicle will be invented with a steam engine, which was around at the time. This topic personally effected me by increasing my speed of travel. If I did not have a parent with a car I would not make it to my school, my parents would not be able to get to their jobs, and my mom, a crossing guard would not even have a job because there would be no cars for kids to be protected from. The automobile really improved my life.
